About Compyl
Compyl is a fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS company transforming how organizations manage governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). Our platform centralizes and automates information security and compliance programs for mid-market and enterprise customers. Backed by top-tier investors, we’re scaling rapidly and redefining the future of GRC. We operate in a remote-first, high-trust environment where ownership, innovation, and execution are core to how we work.
The Role
We’re hiring a Strategic Alliance Sales Director to lead Compyl’s growth through technology and channel alliances. This role will initially focus on building and operationalizing a new technology partnership with a global cybersecurity SaaS business, with a long-term focus on expanding relationships across the broader cybersecurity partner ecosystem (e.g., Optiv, GuidePoint, Evotek, and others).
This is a high-impact, hands-on role: you will be directly responsible for educating, enabling, and driving revenue with partner sellers, while establishing a repeatable co-sell engine and flywheel that scales across multiple partners.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll combine strategic partner leadership with direct selling responsibility to ensure early wins and long-term momentum. Over time, you’ll also have the opportunity to hire and lead a small alliances sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch Compyl’s partner sales motion from the ground up, creating the playbook for joint success.
- Win seller buy-in by running campaigns, trainings, and sessions that drive engagement.
- Co-sell with partner sellers to generate pipeline and close ARR-driving deals.
- Build a scalable framework that turns one-off wins into repeatable revenue across alliances.
- Own outcomes: deliver partner-sourced ARR targets and establish clear KPIs for growth.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in alliances, channel, or direct sales roles within cybersecurity, GRC or enterprise SaaS.
- Proven ability to build and scale co-sell programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue.
- Hands-on seller attitude and mindset. Meaning, still active in the field, energized by building relationships and driving deals to close.
- Strong understanding of strategic alliances, technology partnerships, and channel sales motions.
- Track record of building trusted relationships with both executive stakeholders and field sellers.
- Entrepreneurial and resourceful, thrives in a high-growth startup environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
